Skilled Paramedical Professionals for India's Healthcare Ecosystem

Padmavathi College of BSC.MLT (SDGR) is a dedicated paramedical and allied health institution of the Sri Adi Siva Sadguru Educational Society. All courses offered are recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and are designed as self-employment training programs, giving graduates the skills and credentials to work independently or with hospitals across India.

The college is equipped with modern medical laboratories including a Microbiology Lab, Biochemistry Lab, Haematology Lab, and Radiography simulation rooms. Students receive practical training at the Society's attached hospitals, ensuring high job-readiness upon graduation.

The college is open to all students — both boys and girls — who have cleared their Intermediate examination, making quality paramedical education accessible to everyone regardless of their Inter group specialization.

Our Programs

Allied Health & Paramedical Courses Offered

We offer a wide range of AP-recognized allied health, paramedical, and technician courses. All programs are of 2-year duration unless stated, open to Inter pass students.

Degree | 4.5 Yrs

B.P.T. — Bachelor in Physiotherapy

4½-year physiotherapy degree. Eligible: Inter Bi.PC pass or Physiotherapy Vocational. Opens careers in hospitals, sports clinics, and independent practice.

Degree | 3 Yrs

B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology

3-year degree in Medical Lab Technology. Students with DMLT (50%+) can join 2nd year directly. Prepares graduates for clinical laboratory careers.

Diploma | 2 Yrs

Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT)

Foundation diploma in laboratory diagnostics. Covers haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology practicals. Recognized by Govt. of AP.

Diploma | 2 Yrs

Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology (DMIT)

Covers radiology, X-ray technology, CT scan and MRI operations. Prepares students for radiology departments in hospitals and imaging centers.

Diploma | 2 Yrs

Diploma in Opthalmic Assistant

2-year diploma in ophthalmic care assistance. Covers vision testing, refraction, surgical assistance, and ophthalmic equipment operation.

Diploma | 2 Yrs

Diploma in Optometry

Comprehensive optometry training covering refraction, contact lens fitting, low vision management, and community eye care.

Certificate | 2 Yrs

E.C.G. Technician Course

Specialized 2-year course in electrocardiography, Holter monitoring, stress testing, and cardiac care unit support.

Certificate | 2 Yrs

Cardiology Technician Course

Advanced cardiovascular diagnostic technology covering ECG, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization support, and coronary care.

Certificate | 2 Yrs

Anaesthesia Technician Course

Trains students in anaesthesia equipment handling, OT preparation, patient positioning, and anaesthetic monitoring during surgeries.
